Pike & Perch tour

Day Tour on a boat (approx. 6 h)

This Tour starts at 9:00h on Meselefors Campsite, where it also ends at 15:00h.

We will be fishing on the beautiful river Ångermanälven, which is known for its great Perch- and Pike population. Pike 100cm+ and Perch 40cm+ are not seldom! With a bit of luck, you might also catch a Trout.
Around lunchtime we will make a fire, have lunch and coffee, before we start the 2nd half of the tour.

Equipment, boat and fishing license, as well as lunch and coffee is included in the price.
For space reasons, max. 2 persons can join this tour.

Half-day Tour on a boat (ca. 3.5 h)

This tour can be booked either from 9:00-12:30h or from 13:00-16:30h.

We will be fishing on the beautiful river Ångermanälven, which is known for its great Perch- and Pike population. Pike 100cm+ and Perch 40cm+ are not seldom! With a bit of luck, you might also catch a Trout.
After two hours we will have a short coffee break on the shore, if you wish so.

Equipment, boat and fishing license, as well as coffee is included in the price.
For space reasons, max. 2 persons can join this tour.

Trout & Grayling tour (ca. 4h)

This tour can be booked either from 9:00-13:00h or from 13:00-17:00h. It starts and ends on Meselefors Campsite.
A 20 minutes car drive will lead us to a perfect spot to catch major trout. 60 cm+ trout are not uncommon here! This river section offers also great spots to catch grayling. We will choose a spot depending on your target fish. Occasionally we will have a coffee break.

For your attention: This tour is not a walk in the park. The trail leads through bushes, over slippery stones and up/down steep shorelines. Good sturdy and robust walking equipment (hiking boots), as well as a general good level of fitness are strongly recommended.

Special rules apply on this river section: Maximum 1 trout (size 55-75 cm) and max. 1 grayling (size 35-45 cm) are allowed to be taken out.

Sustainable fishing

When fishing in Sweden, it gives the impression that there are an infinite number of fish in the lakes and rivers.
Unfortunately this is no longer the case. In the last 30 years, the fish population has also noticeably declined here.
The construction of dams, increased fishing and other environmental influences are also very hard on the fish here.

Therefore I kindly ask you to consider this. Please only take as much fish as you can consume right away.
If we take this to heart, we can still practice our beloved hobby in the distant future.

For these reasons I have decided to impose stricter catch limits on my tours.
It goes without saying that Catch & Release is also welcomed.

The following restrictions apply on the tours:

Max. 1 pike from 50-75 cm

Max. 5 perch from 25-40 cm

Max. 1 trout from 55-65 cm in Ångermanälven and 1 trout from 30-45cm in Vojmån

Max. 1 grayling of 35-45cm in Ångermanälven and 1 grayling from 30-40cm in Vojmån

Terms and conditions for the tour

• the person must be able to swim
• bookings by 6 pm on the previous evening at the latest
• Minimum age 12 years, children under 18 years only when accompanied by an adult
• Life jackets are mandatory for children under 18 years of age
